Bitumen Emulsion Application For application :

Aggregate  :            1000 kg
Pre-wet water  :     between 60 and 120 kg
Cement  :                 between 2 and 10 kg

 

Mixing time should range from 90 s to 120 s to achieve good cohesion build-up. If this is too long, it will be necessary to reduce the pre-wet water or the quantity of Polyram L80 when preparing the emulsion.

If mixing time is too short, CECA offers a range of additives to help adapt the reactivity of the emulsion to the aggregate (STABIRAM® AD, STABIRAM ®MS3, STABIRAM ®MS6).
